Lucy McMorron has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Prior to their current role, they served as the Head of Partnerships at Gathered Here, where they were instrumental in transforming the way charities attract and generate bequest income.
Before joining Gathered Here, Lucy worked as the Head of Social Enterprise at Kids Under Cover, where they led the proof of concept through to commercialization of Nestd Homes. Lucy undertook customer research to develop a customer-driven product suite and implemented business development and marketing initiatives to build the brand. Their efforts resulted in a strong pipeline of customers and sales.
Lucy also has extensive experience as a Not-for-profit Specialist, providing strategic advice and delivering projects for various clients, including Kids Under Cover and the Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair Foundation. Their responsibilities included advising senior management, developing case study videos, and implementing brand refreshes.
Earlier in their career, Lucy served as the National Head of Marketing and Fundraising at Kids Under Cover, where they oversaw engagement, branding, communications, media, events, corporate partnerships, bequests, and online fundraising. Lucy successfully diversified the organization's income and reduced reliance on government funding.
Prior to their work at Kids Under Cover, Lucy held positions at the Leukaemia Foundation, where they served as the Senior Event Coordinator for the World's Greatest Shave fundraising event, and Plan International, where they were the Marketing and Events Coordinator for the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games.

Lucy McMorron completed their VCE at Firbank Grammar from 1990 to 1996, where they were awarded the Winner Arthur Anderson Prize for Accounting in 1996. Lucy then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing/Management at Monash University from 1997 to 2002. In 2021, they enrolled in a Digital Marketing Strategy and Planning course at RMIT Online.
