Amy Thorpe, MPA, currently serves as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher at Gateway Preparatory Academy since December 2019, and as an Adjunct Math Faculty member at Southern Utah University since August 2017. With extensive experience in mathematics education, previous roles include Director of Education at North Star Treatment Center, where support for youth's academic success was emphasized, and Mathematics Teacher positions at several educational institutions, including Washington County School District and Clark County School District. Amy has also worked as a Sales Representative and Center Director for organizations aimed at improving graduation rates. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Administration from Southern Utah University, graduate studies in Mathematics Education at Brigham Young University, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from Arizona State University.
