Robert Schumacher has been in the business industry since 2006. Robert started their career at Dixendris AG as Head of Business Development, where they grew the business within Switzerland and drove innovation of trigger based marketing methodology. In 2007, they moved on to mybonitos AG as Managing Partner, where they initiated a new innovative business idea from scratch with support of early investors and business angels. In 2009, they joined SAS as Customer Intelligence Solutions Manager, where they headed the Customer Intelligence position in Switzerland and grew the Swiss Customer Intelligence business from scratch to a recurring multi million business. Robert also founded canoobio consulting gmbh in 2009, where they served as Managing Director and Founder.
In 2012, Schumacher began lecturing at the ZHAW School of Management and Law. Robert then lectured at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in 2015, HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich in 2016, and University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW in 2018. In 2015, they also co-founded Signifikant Solutions AG, where they served as a Member of the Board, and joined gateB as Director and Member of the Executive Board. At gateB, they enabled companies to transform digital into value, established data driven marketing and Marketing Automation within the Swiss market, and drove business development leveraging innovative software partnerships.
Robert Schumacher received a Certificate in eCommerce and Online Marketing from Franklin University in 2000, and a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Bern in 1995.
