Heidi Basut is an experienced Contracts Manager at Gate 1 Travel, specializing in contracts across Western Europe, Iberia, the UK and Ireland, Scandinavia, Iceland, and Morocco since July 2019. Prior to this role, Heidi served as Head of Destination Services Procurement Europe at Kuoni Group Travel Experts from November 2012 to January 2019, focusing on global contracting. Heidi's earlier experience includes serving as Regional Manager for Central Europe at GTA from September 1994 to October 2012, where responsibilities included destination services and contracting for various regions including Great Britain, the Netherlands, and the Middle East. Heidi holds a BA Hons degree in Hospitality Management, specializing in Tourism and Hospitality Management from the University of Central Lancashire.
