Maartje Steenvoorden is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Communications Lead at CO2next since November 2022, and as Communications Consultant and Communications Manager a.i. at Smart Freight Centre since January 2022. Maartje also owns The Reputation Building, established in November 2021. Previous roles include Interim PR, Marketing and Communications at Dentons, Reputation Project Consultant at APG, and various positions at Shell, culminating as Communications Manager for Renewables & Energy Solutions. Maartje's career began with a Management Trainee role at ORMIT, alongside positions at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., Philips, and the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam. Maartje holds a Master’s degree in Business Studies (Strategy and Organization) and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Science from the University of Amsterdam.
