Eerik Ekström is an experienced energy market analyst currently working at Gasum since May 2022, specializing in electricity price forecasting and energy market analysis. Prior to this role, Eerik spent over six years at Neste in various positions including crude oil trader and supply chain planner, where responsibilities encompassed managing supply chains for oil products and developing an understanding of oil markets. Eerik’s background also includes engineering roles with significant hands-on experience in maritime operations, including positions as a 2nd engineer and motorman. Eerik holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from Tampere University of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Satakunta University of Applied Sciences.
