Ramanujan Samavedy, MBBS, serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center since August 2008. Currently, Ramanujan is a Partner at GASTROINTESTINAL ASSOCIATES, P.C., and has been a Staff Physician at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center since June 2021. Previously, Ramanujan has held roles including Medical Director of Endoscopy and Attending Physician at UT Medical Center, as well as Attending Physician at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Indianapolis. Ramanujan's education includes fellowships at Indiana University School of Medicine and GI Associates, a residency in Internal Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine, and an MBBS from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research.
