Jackie Casey is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in nonprofit management and advocacy. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the GI Research Foundation since June 2022, Jackie focuses on enhancing diversity in gastroenterology research and improving treatment options for gastrointestinal diseases. Prior to this role, Jackie held various positions including Assistant Executive Director at the American Bar Endowment, where oversight of the grantmaking program emphasized access to justice, and Director at the American Bar Association Fund for Justice and Education, directing fundraising efforts to bolster charitable projects. Jackie has also led the MinnDakotas chapter of JDRF as Executive Director, supporting type 1 diabetes research, and managed operations at SAVE - Suicide Awareness Voices of Education. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law, a Bachelor’s degree from St. Mary's College, and a certificate in Business Administration and Management from Columbia University.
