Tom McGuigan is a seasoned safety professional currently employed at Gas Networks Ireland since August 2021. Prior to this role, Tom served as HSQE Project Lead at Ervia from May 2017 to August 2021, where responsibilities included supporting HSQE needs for large infrastructure projects and managing contractor assessments and audits. Tom's tenure at firmus energy from April 2005 to May 2017 involved positions as HSE Manager, where an accredited management system to ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 was developed, and as Project Engineer, overseeing the design and installation of natural gas networks. Previously, Tom held roles such as Connections Support Manager at McNicholas and Civil Engineer at DBFL Consulting Engineers Ltd., as well as Assistant Civil Engineer at Parkman Consulting Engineers. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Ulster University, obtained from 1992 to 1996.
