Hasindu Gamaarachchi has a diverse and extensive work experience. Hasindu is currently a Lecturer at UNSW, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Conjoint Lecturer at UNSW from November 2020 to February 2023.

Before joining UNSW, Hasindu worked at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research. Hasindu Gamaarachchi pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 1997 to 2010, they attended Kingswood College, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
