Dasol Yoo has a diverse work experience in various research and teaching roles. From 2023, they have worked as a Research Assistant at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research. Prior to that, they were a Research Assistant at Macquarie University from 2022 to 2023. They also served as a Summer Research Student at the Centenary Institute in 2021. Starting in 2018 until 2022, Dasol worked as a Marker/Tutor at Talent 100. They also gained experience as a Private Tutor from 2017 onwards. In 2019, Dasol worked as a Private translator/interpreter and as a Business interpreter/translator at La Muse (Jay Youn Cosmetic) from January to September.

Dasol Yoo attended the University of Sydney from 2018 to 2021, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Advanced) degree. Their field of study included Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Immunology and Pathology.
