Lianyang Li is a Senior Software Engineer at Garmin since August 2022, with prior experience as a Software Developer at BobCAD-CAM Inc. from February 2018 to August 2022, and as a Software Developer Intern at the same company in 2017. Lianyang Li also served as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Houston from August 2012 to December 2017, assisting in multiple undergraduate and graduate courses and participating in the 2013 RoboCup Qualification. In an earlier internship at Philips Lighting in 2016, Lianyang Li enhanced a human detection algorithm and designed a wireless communication system for testing performance. Lianyang Li holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Houston, completed in 2017.
