Derek Hunten is an experienced professional currently serving as COO at Garlic and Pardner at IllIllIll, both roles commencing in January 2024. Previously, Derek held the position of Lead Product Designer at FreshCut from September 2021 to September 2024, where collaboration with the CEO and engineering leaders was pivotal in re-conceptualizing the FreshCut app. Derek's earlier roles include Senior UX Designer at Reddit, Inc., focusing on user-centered design, and Mobile Product Designer at Achievers LLC, where ownership of iOS and Android app design was essential. Additional experience encompasses design roles at Trilibis Mobile, Mace Security International, and various freelance engagements, showcasing a strong foundation in graphic and mobile design.
