Kate Bala has been an HR Generalist at Garland Technology since March of 2022. Prior to that, they were the Area Branch Manager at Parallel Employment Group from September of 2018 to March of 2022. In that role, they were responsible for the daily management of over 300 employees at various worksites in the region, as well as payroll and invoicing management in excess of $200,000 per week. Kate also handled direct review of employment law, workers compensation, injury reportings and partnered with the company Risk and Loss Specialist. Additionally, Kate was responsible for full cycle recruitment processes including client relations and sales, job descriptions, interviewing, onboarding and benefits review, safety trainings (OSHA, HAZMAT, HAZCOM, etc.) orientations, ongoing employee management, and payroll.

Kate Bala graduated from North Hunterdon Regional High School and then attended Canisius College where they studied Health and Wellness. After college, they received a certification from The Predictive Index in PI Expert and a certification from the OSHA Safety Training Institute in OHSHA 10.
