Rob Teeuwen is a data scientist with extensive experience in data analysis, engineering, and machine learning. Currently at Gardyn since April 2022, Rob previously worked at FreshMinds as a Developer/Data Scientist for the Dutch Central Bank, contributing to the Dataloop application for monitoring financial data. Earlier roles included Data Science Consultant and Data Engineer for the Tax and Customs Administration, where Rob focused on enhancing data usage in decision-making processes. Rob's academic background includes a PhD at the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience, where research involved data mining and visualization of electrophysiological data, complemented by a strong foundation in cognitive neuroscience and psychology from Maastricht University and engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology. Additional experience includes developing machine learning models for music genre detection and building scalable web applications.
