Boen Nutting is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Gardner-Webb University since August 2023, Boen previously worked as the Assistant Superintendent for Iredell-Statesville Schools until August 2024. Boen's career includes significant positions such as Chief of Strategic Planning and Student Services and Director of Communications and Development at Iredell-Statesville Schools, where efforts focused on enhancing public education through effective communication strategies. Additionally, Boen served as Principal of Mt. Mourne School, leading it to be the highest performing middle school in the Charlotte Metro region for four consecutive years. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration, as well as a Master’s degree in the same field, both from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from The University of Georgia.
