As director of development for the company’s multifamily division, Sanders is responsible for all aspects related to new project acquisition, financing, and development within the company’s target markets. His daily responsibilities include identifying new opportunities, vetting project feasibility, and transaction management, while working closely with stakeholders in the public and private sectors to structure the partnerships necessary to bring affordable housing development deals to fruition.
Prior to joining Gardner Capital as director of development, Sanders held the position of vice president of affordable housing development with New York City-based investment firm, Olive Tree Holdings. He began his affordable housing development career in Texas with Gardner Capital as an associate within the company’s multifamily division.
Sanders holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University and Master of Land and Property Development degree from Texas A&M University.
