Allie Pitchon is an experienced journalist currently serving as the Public Transparency & Justice Reporter for the USA Today Network at Gannett, focusing on investigative and social justice issues in Petersburg, VA. Previous roles include being an Investigative Fellow at The New York Times and the Miami Herald, as well as contributing as an Associate Producer for the podcast "How We Got Here" at Columbia University. Additional experience includes writing and editing for Library Ideas, serving as an Editor for The ISIS Magazine, and reporting on politics and the economy for The Bubble. Allie Pitchon holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Pomona College, supplemented by an accredited study abroad program at the University of Oxford.
