Arana Shapiro serves as the Chief Operating and Programs Officer at Games for Change since November 2019, having previously held titles such as Managing Director and Chief Learning Officer within the organization. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Director and Director of School Design at the Institute of Play from January 2006 to June 2019, as well as holding various educational roles at the Ross Institute, The School at Columbia University, Teachers College, Columbia University, and Oak Street Elementary School. Arana Shapiro's educational background includes a Master of Education in Leadership for Educational Change from Bank Street College of Education, a Master's degree in Education from Pepperdine University, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
