Ross Patterson has over 20 years of experience in software engineering and development. Ross began their career in 2001 as a Programmer/Site Manager at the University of Michigan Medical Center, where they were responsible for developing web-based clinical skills teaching tools in HTML/Javascript and managing the medical center computing site. In 2005, they moved to Dynamic Edge, Inc. as a Software Developer, where they created detailed, large-scale operational and financial data warehouses and employed associated reporting techniques. In 2008, they joined Life Technologies (was Compendia Bioscience) as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed, tested, built, refactored, delivered, integrated, monitored, and maintained a suite of web applications and sophisticated analysis engines. In 2015, they moved to the University of Michigan Health System as a Senior Application Programmer/Analyst, where they assembled and developed data pipelines and tools that supported bioinformatic analysis and interpretation. In 2016, they joined Atomic Object as a Software Consultant and Developer, where they developed full-stack software with Java, Node.js, and the React ecosystem. In 2017, they moved to Strata Oncology as an Engineering Manager and Senior Informatics Engineer. Ross is currently employed at Gambyt as a Senior Software Engineer.
