Pamela Perez, PhD, is an accomplished MLOps Engineer at GAMA-1 Technologies since January 2019, with a strong background in software engineering and computational biology. Prior to this role, Pamela served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Rutgers University from October 2017 to January 2020, specializing in data analysis and biophysics, and notably implemented a novel coarse-grained energy optimization algorithm for DNA topology prediction. As a PhD Candidate at Rutgers University from 2008 to June 2017, research focused on computational modeling of DNA elastic energy to predict the structure and topology of protein-mediated DNA loops. Pamela also has extensive experience in systems analysis and software engineering, with earlier positions at Datatek Applications, Bell Laboratories, and Lucent Technologies. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computational Biology and Molecular Biophysics from Rutgers University, an MSE in Computer Science from Columbia Engineering, and a BA in Computer Science from Rutgers University.
