Phillip Choi has significant experience in the legal field, specifically in energy and project finance transactions. Phillip began their career as a Legal Intern at the U.S. Department of Justice in 2012. Phillip then worked as a Summer Associate at Vinson & Elkins and Blank Rome LLP in 2013. In 2014, Phillip joined Vinson & Elkins as an Associate Attorney, where they worked until 2015. Phillip Choi received their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Tulane University Law School, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Intermodal Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, where they studied from 2003 to 2007.
In terms of certifications, Phillip Choi was admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia by the District of Columbia Court of Appeals in 2016.
