Vlad Lucuta has a strong background in ballistics engineering and armor technology. Vlad began their career as a Project Manager at Aceram Technologies Inc. in 1999. Vlad then moved on to Aceram M&T Inc., where they served as the Director of Product Development from 2002 to 2009. In this role, they focused on developing and designing CERAMOR solutions for personnel and vehicle protection. Vlad also worked closely with the military and DRDC Valcartier on the development of a new ultra-light composite ballistic helmet. Afterward, Lucuta joined NP Aerospace Inc. as the Director of Ballistics/Survivability. Vlad managed the company's operations, including contract management and government liaison, until 2012. From 2012 to 2020, Lucuta served as the Director of Armor Technology at Revision Military Inc., leading the development and implementation of armor technology solutions. Vlad is currently working as the Director of Ballistics Engineering at Galvion.
Vlad Lucuta obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Ottawa, where they studied from 1992 to 1996.
