William Gibbon is an accomplished human resources executive with extensive experience in leading HR functions across multiple industries and regions. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Galaxy Entertainment Group since August 2018, Gibbon previously held senior HR leadership roles at HSBC, including Regional Head of Human Resources for Global Functions, Operations, Services, and Technology, and various other positions at Barclays, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing HR strategies for diverse markets across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. Gibbon also contributed to Marks and Spencer in various HR capacities from 1987 to 2001. In addition to practical experience, Gibbon is involved in academia as an Adjunct Faculty member at UNSW Business School, focusing on HR, change management, and organizational effectiveness. Gibbon's educational background includes a degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Michigan and further engagements in executive education at AGSM @ UNSW Business School.
