Joshua Reiss has extensive experience in clinical engineering and software development within the medical device industry. At Galvanize Therapeutics, Inc., Joshua served as a Sr Field Clinical Engineer from February 2021 to July 2023, leading a first-in-human trial for Pulsed Electric Fields therapy for lung cancer and managing clinical sites across Europe and Asia. Prior to this role, Joshua worked at St. Jude Medical for over two decades, initially as a Sr Field Clinical Engineer, where responsibilities included executing clinical trials for implantable cardioverter defibrillators, pacemakers, and neurostimulators, and later as Sr Manager of Clinical Engineering, overseeing the development of long-term ICD projects. Joshua's career began at Ventritex as a Software Engineer, focusing on real-time embedded software for ICDs. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Duke University, earned between 1988 and 1992.
