Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Gala Games

Lekya Tummala has a diverse work experience in quality assurance and software testing. Lekya started their career as an intern at Doctus software solutions in 2016 and later interned at INNOVISTA Technologies Pvt Ltd in 2017.

In 2018, Lekya worked as a Software Engineer at Five9, where they collaborated with business stakeholders to develop functionality for training and certification. Lekya also designed and tested interface layouts and built dynamic web pages using Node.js, jQuery, XML, HTML, and JavaScript.

From 2018 to 2019, Lekya was a Quality Assurance Test Engineer at Transamerica. Their responsibilities included creating and maintaining test scripts, performing web services testing, and working in Agile/Scrum methodology. Lekya also performed UAT testing and collaborated with development and business teams to define requirements.

During 2020, Lekya worked as a Quality Engineer at GreatCall, focusing on software testing. Lekya then became a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Somish Blockchain Labs, where they performed software testing for Blockchain projects. Their tasks included creating test strategies and reducing the number of reopened issues/bugs.

Currently, Lekya is a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Gala Games, starting in 2022.

Lekya Tummala holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from California State University - East Bay. Lekya also has a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology. In addition to their formal education, Lekya has obtained several certifications. Lekya is certified in "How to Manage a Remote Team" by GitLab Certification through Coursera, and they hold an ISTQB Certified Agile Tester certificate from Udemy. Lekya has also completed a course on C language from NIIT Media Technologies, LLC. Furthermore, they received a Merit Certificate for a paper on DATA Addicts during their third year of BTech, and they were a runner-up for the W3 Technical Quiz at CBIT. Additionally, Lekya has written a technical paper on "Blue Tooth Hijacking" while studying at CBIT.
