Dorian Janiak has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Junior Software Engineer at Gainsight. Prior to this, they worked at Northpass as a Solutions Engineer, where they provided technical support and customized products for clients. Dorian also collaborated with product teams to develop new features. Before joining Northpass, Dorian briefly worked as a Quality Controller at Pratt & Whitney Kalisz. Their earliest work experience was as a Salesperson at PPHU J.M. EXPORT-IMPORT, where they worked for three years.

Dorian Janiak began their education in 2016 at the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, where they pursued a degree in Automatyka i Robotyka. Dorian completed their Bachelor's degree (Inż.) in this field in 2020. Dorian then continued their education at the same university, enrolling in the Magister (Mgr) program in Automatyka i Robotyka in 2020. Dorian obtained their Master's degree in this field in 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Dorian Janiak has also obtained several certifications. In December 2020, they became certified as an internal auditor of the quality management system according to ISO 9001:2015, through PCC-CERT. In January 2021, Dorian obtained a certification in Lean Manufacturing in practice from the same institution. Most recently, in May 2021, they became certified as an internal auditor of the quality management system according to ISO 45001 through PCC-CERT Polskie Centrum Certyfikacji.
