Alex Toda is a highly experienced professional in bioprocess development and engineering. Currently serving as Head of Bioprocess Development at Prolific Machines Inc. since February 2024, Alex is driving innovative solutions for sustainable production using biological processes. Prior experience includes senior roles at Orbillion Bio, where responsibilities encompassed engineering and scale-up development for cultivated meat, and at Mission Barns, focusing on R&D process scalability. Alex's extensive background also includes significant tenure at Genentech, where leadership roles involved technical advisory, lab strategy, and process development within cell culture operations. Additional experience includes automation engineering at Amgen and Genentech, as well as foundational roles at Schneider Electric, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
