John Bowers is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience spanning various roles and companies since the mid-1990s. Currently, at GAI Consultants, Inc. since September 2018, Bowers is part of the Civil Engineering Technical Services Group, focusing on civil engineering packages for Oil & Gas and Power Delivery clients. Prior experience includes significant contributions at Lennon, Smith, Souleret Engineering, Inc., where Bowers was involved in master grading and sustainable technology conversion projects, and Gateway Engineers, where responsibilities included client engagement and detailed project planning. A solid foundation in civil site development and environmental analysis was established during early career roles at R Lee Royer and Associates and the Ohio Department of Transportation, complemented by technical expertise in CAD design from positions at Nassaux-Hemsley and KCW Consultants. Bowers holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Youngstown State University.
