Talha Liaquat is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in software architecture and engineering, currently serving as Head of Group IT Technical Engineering at GAC Group since June 2019. Talha has successfully delivered the scalable integration platform GACconnect and has modernized legacy applications using Azure infrastructure. Previous roles include Senior Software Architect at Vontobel, where a trading application was architected into microservices, and Lead Software Engineer at emaratech, initiating a bespoke PaaS solution for government applications. Talha has a strong foundation in software development practices and team mentorship, and holds a Master's degree in Software Project Management from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Bahria University.
