Sharrifa Meleyil is a seasoned genetics technologist with extensive experience in the healthcare sector, currently employed at G42 Healthcare since May 2020. Previously, Sharrifa held the same position at Star Metropolis Clinical Laboratories from November 2018 to May 2020 and worked as a research assistant at Jubilee Mission Medical College & Research Institute in 2017. Earlier in their career, Sharrifa was a biotechnologist at CIMAR Fertility Centre from June 2010 to June 2015. Sharrifa possesses a Master of Science (MSc) in Biotechnology from Periyar University, obtained in 2010, and has expertise in receiving and registering cytogenetic samples, as well as performing chromosome culture, harvesting, and banding from various biological samples.
