Duarte Tavares da Silva is a seasoned professional in the field of intelligence and investigations, currently serving as Manager for sub-Saharan Africa at G3 since October 2024. Previously, Duarte held the position of Africa Associate at The Risk Advisory Group, where responsibilities included managing pre-transactional and strategic intelligence investigations focused on financial crime across Portuguese and Spanish-speaking regions. Duarte also worked as an Associate Consultant at Control Risks, assisting clients with due diligence, and performed open-source investigations at Sportradar. An earlier role as Assistant Editor at Chambers and Partners involved legal analysis for the Brazilian market, along with contributions to European legal guides. Duarte holds an L.L.M. in International Law from UCL, a Bachelor's degree in Law from Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa, and has participated in prestigious programs at Nankai University and Tsinghua University.
