Dexter Lowe is a Senior Software Engineer at G-Research, specializing in Big Data technologies since July 2017. Prior to this role, Dexter served as a Distributed Systems Engineer at a financial analytics software firm from January 2016 to June 2017 and as a Software Engineer focusing on Big Data technologies and platform enhancements. Dexter's career began at VisualDNA, where foundational skills in Hadoop and Cassandra were developed through the creation of independent tools during a short contract. Additionally, at Triple Software Ltd, Dexter held the position of Lead Developer, implementing significant updates to applications. Early experiences include part-time work as a Shop Assistant and Technical Consultant at Welbourn Post Office, where software solutions were created to streamline operations. Dexter holds an MEng in Software Engineering from the University of Southampton, completed in 2013.
