Jorge Octavio Candanedo Alvarado has diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Jorge Octavio began their career as an RBS Engineer at Cable & Wireless Panama, where they provided maintenance for GSM stations. Later, they joined Huawei Technologies as a Wireless Technical Support Engineer, where they developed strategies and ensured customer satisfaction. In 2017, they returned to Cable & Wireless Panama as the Procurement Manager. Currently, they hold the position of a Sourcing Lead Manager at Liberty Latin America.

Jorge Octavio Candanedo Alvarado has a degree in Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications from Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá, which they obtained from 2002 to 2007. Jorge Octavio also completed a post-graduate specialization in Design, Evaluation, and Project Management at the same university from 2011 to 2012. Currently, they are pursuing their education at ADEN University without a specified degree or field of study, with an expected completion in 2023.
