Mr. José Roberto Marinho is a Vice President of the Board and Chairman of the Social Responsibility Committee. He started his professional life in 1972, as a reporter for the O Globo newspaper. In 1981, he became an assistant editor. In May 1983, he was appointed to the position of deputy chief of the editorial room, a role he performed until May 1984. In that year, he left the newspaper to take the position of FM programming director of the Sistema Globo de Rádio, where later he held the positions of general-director and vice-president.
