Dr.-Ing. Stefan Schwab serves as the Abteilungsleiter at FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik since August 2018, leading projects in the Control in Information Technology (CIT) sector within the Embedded Systems and Sensors Engineering (ESS) research area. Prior to this role, Dr.-Ing. Stefan Schwab worked as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter and Doktorand at Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) from January 2013 to July 2018, contributing to the promotionskolleg Projekthaus eDrive and coordinating various research projects while also overseeing the course "Optimization of Dynamic Systems." Dr.-Ing. Stefan Schwab earned a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, and holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from KIT, along with a study abroad experience at the University of Newcastle.
