Dirk Achenbach is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as Bereichsleiter Cybersecurity and Law at FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik since July 2023, Dirk previously held the position of IT-Security-Manager at Hessischer Rundfunk from January to June 2023. Prior to that, Dirk worked as a Security Incident Responder at Atruvia AG and led the IT Security Competence Center at FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik from February 2016 to June 2021. Dirk's academic background includes a Dr. rer. nat. in Computer Science and a Diplom-Informatiker from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), where academic involvement spanned from 2003 to 2016.
