Abhishek Vivekanandan is a skilled research scientist at FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik since January 2019, focusing on safe driving decision outcomes through deep neural networks and constrained optimization strategies, with a commitment to understanding edge cases to enhance safety. Previously, Abhishek worked at Volkswagen AG as a Master Thesis Student and Research Intern from August 2017 to October 2018, where contributions included the estimation of model uncertainty and deployment of deep neural networks, alongside the design and optimization of semantic segmentation architectures for autonomous vehicles. Abhishek holds a Master’s Degree in Automotive Software Engineering from Technische Universität Chemnitz and a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Anna University.
