Kärt Kalvet has extensive work experience starting from 2019. Kärt began their career at eAgronom, where they worked as an Administrative Assistant for a year. Kärt then moved on to become a Finance Assistant, where they handled a high volume of payments and provided internal support for financial matters. Kärt eventually became a Finance Specialist, managing a team, analyzing financial information, and implementing automation to streamline processes. In 2022, Kärt joined Estonian Young Greens as Vice Chairwoman and later became an Executive Committee Member, leading projects, organizing events, and raising funds to support environmental activism. Kärt also played a significant role in getting Estonian Young Greens accepted into the Federation of Young European Greens. Kärt was then hired by Progressiivne Liikumine as a Project Manager and an Executive Committee Member. Currently, they hold the position of Chief of Staff at Fyma since 2023.

Kärt Kalvet has an unfinished Bachelor's degree in Rural Entrepreneurship and Financial Management from the Estonian University of Life Sciences. Additionally, they have studied Japanology at Tallinn University and has a background in Swedish Language and the Nordics Cultural History from Noarootsi Gümnaasium.
