Jack Wildman is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and team leadership, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at FutureSearch since May 2024. Previously, Jack held the position of Senior Backend Engineer at Metaculus from February 2023 to May 2024 and was the Development Team Lead at Ito World from January 2020 to February 2023, where responsibilities included guiding a team and shaping product architecture for flagship Transit Hub applications. Prior to this, Jack worked as a Senior C++ Developer and Software Design Engineer, specializing in transit data applications and sensor drivers, respectively. Jack's academic background includes a PhD in Molecular Dynamics Simulations from Heriot-Watt University, complemented by a degree in Mathematical Physics.
