Felicity Slater (she/her) is a Policy Fellow at Future of Privacy Forum. Felicity earned her J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 2022. At graduation, she was awarded the Melville M. Bigelow Scholarship Award (“awarded to the members of the graduating class who show the greatest promise as scholars and teachers of law”) by the faculty.

While in law school, Felicity served on the editorial and executive boards of the Boston University School of Law Journal of Science and Technology Law, as a Consumer Debt Practicum student attorney, and as a Matthew Z. Gomes Fellow at the BU/MIT Technology Law Clinic. She also worked as a research assistant for Professors Danielle Citron (privacy), Rory Van Loo (consumer protection), and Stacey Dogan (trademark and trade secrets). Alongside Professor Dogan, she co-authored an article entitled The Long Shadow of Inevitable Disclosure, which is forthcoming in the Spring Issue (Volume 30:3) of the George Mason Law Review.

Prior to law school, Felicity earned her M.A. in Philosophy from The City University of New York Graduate Center, her B.A. in Philosophy from Grinnell College, and worked for several different arts and environment-focused non-profits. She is passionate about composting, support for the arts, and, of course, privacy.
