Mitch Strand is a seasoned project manager and engineer with extensive experience in facilities management and engineering across various sectors. Currently serving as Project Manager - Facilities at WEC Energy Group since March 2023, Mitch oversees facility upgrade projects for multiple energy utilities. Previously, as Project Engineer - Shock at Fincantieri Marinette Marine, Mitch implemented an Environmental Qualification Program for U.S. Navy vessels, focusing on shock, vibration, EMI, and noise qualifications. Additional roles include Application Engineer at Crane Engineering and Project Engineer positions at NextEra Energy Resources and Flint Hills Resources, along with a Plant Engineering Co-Op at Wisconsin Public Service. Mitch holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
