Emily Gann possesses extensive experience in education and corporate communications. Currently serving as the Assistant Director and Math Department Head at Fusion Academy since September 2017, Emily leads instructional initiatives and mentors students in mathematics. Previously, Emily worked at ANN INC, where responsibilities as a Corporate Communications Specialist included managing the corporate intranet platform and supporting cross-functional initiatives through content creation. Prior roles include a Sales Lead at LOFT, providing operational leadership, and serving as a Customer Service Representative at Community Bank, where account management was a key focus. Emily also has teaching experience from time as a Student Teacher in AP Calculus at Albemarle County Public Schools and as a DEVELOP Intern at NASA Langley Research Center, contributing to software development for satellite data analysis. Emily holds a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, both from the University of Virginia.
