Gail Watkis is an experienced audio-visual and stage technician currently working at On Event Production Co and FUSION 2K since September and May 2022, respectively. Roles include Causal Technician at Birmingham Repertory Theatre and Stage Technician at Birmingham Hippodrome, both positions held since 2019. As Technical Stage Manager for ONE LOVE REGGAE FESTIVAL LTD and Performing Arts Technician at Midlands Arts Centre, Gail has been involved in various technical aspects of performing arts since 2017. Additional experience includes Assistant Stage Manager/Stage Manager at Town Hall and Symphony Hall Birmingham and a technician role at BOA Creative, Digital and Performing Arts Academy. Gail holds a BA Hons in Sound Engineering and Production and a foundation degree in Sound Engineering and Music Production from Birmingham City University, completed between 2007 and 2014. Past work includes a tenure as a Security Officer for various companies from 1992 to 2023.
