Joseph Daly has a diverse work experience. From 2007 to 2013, they worked as a Stadium Operations Assistant for the Oakland Athletics. In 2013, they began working as a Litigation Associate for BDO USA, LLP. In 2014, they became an Earl Warren Legal Fellow for the Alameda County District Attorney's Office, where they provided support duties such as discovery, transcription, general IT, research, and trial preparation assistance. In 2015, they began working as a Software Engineer for Funnel and also became a Volunteer Instructor for RailsBridge, instructing students in web development topics such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX and Ruby on Rails.

Joseph Daly attended Bishop O'Dowd Highschool from 2004 to 2008. Joseph then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy and History from Fordham University from 2008 to 2012. In August 2012, they obtained a certification from the American Red Cross in Lifeguard, CPR, AED and First Aid. In 2015, they attended App Academy for Web Development.
