Julio Marchamalo Amado is a highly experienced professional in the field of research, development, and innovation (R&D&I), currently serving as a Senior Technician at FECYT since June 2023. Responsibilities include organizing high-level science and technology events in the context of the Spanish Presidency of the European Union and participating as a Rapporteur in evaluation committees for prestigious research centers. Previous roles include positions at madri+d Knowledge Foundation, where Julio supported internationalization efforts for SMEs and universities, and as an ERANET Cofund International Project Manager at FECYT, focusing on energy engineering and materials initiatives. Julio has also contributed to H2020 project management at CSIC and interned at Instituto Geográfico Nacional, highlighting a diverse skill set in project management and international collaboration.
