Alejandra Kopaitic Aguirre is an experienced environmental professional with a strong focus on sustainability and project management. Currently serving as the Directora del Pacto Chileno de los Plásticos and Jefa de Proyectos de Consumo y Producción Sustentable at Fundación Chile, Alejandra has a rich background that includes co-founding vayaconsumismo and working in various roles aimed at enhancing environmental awareness and promoting sustainable practices. Previous positions include coordination of the GEF montaña project at the Municipalidad de Peñalolén, support for the Ministry of the Environment, and leading socio-environmental literacy initiatives at Basura ONG. Alejandra holds a Master’s degree in International Development with a focus on Environment, Climate Change, and Development from The University of Manchester, along with other degrees in environmental engineering and biodiversity.
