Laura Moore is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in local government law. Currently serving as Senior Assistant County Counsel for Fulton County Government since June 2022, Moore previously held the position of Senior Assistant County Attorney at DeKalb County Government from December 2018 to July 2022, where responsibilities included providing legal advice to Human Resources for a large workforce. Moore's earlier roles include Assistant County Attorney IV and Assistant County Attorney II at DeKalb and Fulton County Governments, respectively, focusing on labor and employment law as well as public works infrastructure. Moore's legal education includes a Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from The University of Georgia.
