Balachander Srinivasan has extensive experience in compliance and regulatory roles within the banking sector. Currently serving as Chief Compliance Officer at Fullerton India Credit Company Ltd. since August 2021, Balachander previously held the same title at Bandhan Bank from March 2019 to July 2021. Prior to that, a significant tenure at Axis Bank lasted from March 2007 to February 2019, where responsibilities included oversight of KYC/AML policies, international compliance activities, and regulatory coordination. Additionally, Balachander served as Alternate Chief Executive & Head of Operations at Global Trust Bank from 1999 to 2001 and began the career as Branch Head. Academically, Balachander holds a BSc. and PGBDP in Business Data Processing from Bharathidasan University, completed between 1986 and 1989.
