Heather Startup is an experienced educator and independent contractor with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as an Associate Course Director at Full Sail University since May 2019, Heather has also been self-employed as an Independent Contractor since June 2012, focusing on writing marketing copy and editing. Previously, Heather worked as a C-Print Captionist at the University of Central Florida from January 2006 to May 2019 and as an English Instructor at Adventist University of Health Sciences and Concorde Career Colleges, Inc. In terms of education, Heather holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte and a BA in English - Creative Writing from the University of Central Florida.
